The Illawarra is where Absolute Coastal Care began, and it’s still where most of our team live, shop and spend their weekends. That matters more than it sounds: when your support worker knows which beach has the accessible ramp, which cafés are quiet on a Tuesday and how the trains run from Dapto, everyday plans just work better.

We support participants across the whole corridor — from Helensburgh in the north through Wollongong and Shellharbour to Kiama and Gerringong in the south — in their own homes, in supported living and out in the community.

Being coastal locals shapes how we plan supports here. Community access might mean the rock pools at Austinmer, the leagues club, the botanic garden or a TAFE course in town — whatever connection looks like for you, we build the routine around it.

And because our leadership team is based here too, decisions don’t disappear into a head office. If something about your support needs to change, the person who can change it is nearby — and probably already knows your name.
